Julie lives in the north-eastern suburbs of Melbourne and has worked in caring jobs and roles throughout her career. She became a celebrant in 2019 after having worked as a nurse and computer teacher at local neighbourhood houses in addition to varied volunteer roles. She loves hearing about people and their stories and combined with her professional skills as a funeral director will support and guide you towards creating a fitting tribute for every service.
Having lived in the ‘Green Wedge’ of Melbourne for over 25 years, Julie has developed a fondness and knowledge of the local environment. There are many parks and walks along the Yarra River or Diamond Creek – potential suitable places for a funeral or memorial for your loved one. There are also many splendid cafes, restaurants and reception venues that may be available to hold meaningful services. For the more traditional there are the chapels at the Melbourne cemeteries and crematoriums along with local churches.
The passing of a loved one is a very emotional time and Julie considers it a privilege to work with you to create a fitting tribute and environment to say ‘farewell’. Listening, compassion, empathy and professionalism are what she can offer you for all your requirements in a funeral or memorial setting.
