Unlike a funeral director, we don\u2019t have any physical locations or infrastructure such as chapels, hearses or mortuaries. Instead, we team up with service providers such as florists, stationery providers, coffin suppliers, cemeteries and crematorium to tailor everything we do to suit the family\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n
It means families have an unlimited choice of options available to create the most authentic and inspirational farewell possible, rather than confirm to the rigid practices of an industry that\u2019s slow to evolve.<\/p>\n
Location is often a pivotal decision, with burials or cremations now taking place before a memorial service at a football club, on a beach \u2013 wherever\u2019s seen to be the most fitting site for a send-off.<\/p>\n
Picaluna is open and transparent about how we work and the cost of our services. And we donate 10% of the profit from the funeral to a charity of the family\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n
