As a lifelong resident of North-Western Sydney, Jeannie has conducted funerals for over 20 years and more recently joined Picaluna as a Funeral Celebrant. She partners with her husband Murray who is a Picaluna Funeral Director & Celebrant.

As an intensive care and cardiac registered nurse, Jeannie became familiar with all aspects of end-of-life issues for both patients and families of elderly people, for tragic accidents and serious illnesses for any age.

Her career as a registered nurse overflowed into study and working as a qualified counsellor-consultant specialising in grief, loss and trauma in a large Western Sydney hospital. Her close work with palliative care teams, doctors at all levels and hospital staff has equipped her to be a very sensitive Funeral Celebrant.

When you ask Jeannie to help you plan that special service, you will find a person with broad exposure to many cultures, family backgrounds and religious/non-religious experiences equipping her to lead any funeral service with sensitivity and care.
