Judy is from the NW area of Sydney and has been a funeral celebrant for the past 7 years. She joined Picaluna to also be able to offer transparent and accurate information to people tasked with arranging a cremation, burial, funeral or memorial including the scattering of ashes.
She loves to provide options to families, who have an idea of what they would like to do for their loved one but simply need some support and guidance to make it happen.
The NW district has many hidden pockets of bush, which she loves to explore particularly the various remnant Blue Gum High Forests. Growing up in the Newcastle she still has strong social links to the area and enjoys visiting regularly.
Her passion is listening to life stories from a variety of sources then distilling qualities attributed to a person in such a way that people come away from the ceremony saying “they would have loved that”.
