They will meet the family, learn the story of the deceased, their life and loves; then craft a personalised funeral ceremony, delivered on the day. This typically takes 10-12 hours’ work. This helps the family and the community to honour and celebrate their person, mourn their death so they can heal and rejuvenate.
Price for a Richmond standard MDF coffin; prices vary depending on choice of make and model, starting from $160 for a Daisy Box, environmentally friendly cardboard coffin.

These ceremonies offer families time for service and wake to be unrushed in a comforting and familiar community environment.
