Furthermore, we donate 5% of our profit to a charity of your choice.

A Direct Cremation is a no service, no attendance cremation of the deceased, with the ashes delivered to the family following the cremation taking place. The family often use the ashes at a later date in a memorial ceremony for the deceased.
Transfer is the transferring of the deceased from the place of death to the mortuary. This price is for a weekday transfer; weekend rates apply for transfers on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. Then a transfer from the mortuary to the crematorium.
This is the fee for the mortuary stay, preparing the person for transfer to a coffin and a nameplate.
Funeral arranging entails organising the transfer, meeting with the family to complete documentation, coordinating with external suppliers, registering the death with The Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages, delivering the ashes back to the family.

A Cremation with a service, can either have the coffin present with the cremation taking place following the funeral service, or, the cremation can take place first, followed by a memorial service at a later date. With both options, the ashes are delivered to the family following the cremation taking place.

They will meet the family, learn the story of the deceased, their life and loves; then craft a personalised funeral ceremony, delivered on the day. This typically takes 10-12 hours’ work. This helps the family and the community to honour and celebrate their person, mourn their death so they can heal and rejuvenate.

This cost is the minimum one could expect to pay for a Service Venue. Service Venues can vary greatly, from a Surf Club, a Community Centre, a Park, a Family home, a place of worship, through to a Crematorium chapel.

Photo tribute slideshows and music are important parts of a funeral ceremony. Our professional Designers will curate all the photos, videos and music and build a beautiful presentation for playing on the day.
Professional live streaming creates a beautiful experience for family and friends to easily be part of such an important moment from afar. High-quality cameras and microphones discreetly capture all the important details using a variety of creative shots and angles. A recording of the funeral is available to watch later plus it can be downloaded and kept as a treasured tribute.
Can be either a Funeral or Death notice, both digital and print. Can be submitted to newspapers of the family’s choice.
In the instance of a religious ceremony, Clergy would replace the Celebrant.
Some venues have in-house caterers. For venues that don’t, Picaluna has a range of professional catering companies to choose from.
Generally, the family deals directly with the cemetery when purchasing the burial plot.

A refrigerated cooling plate to lay underneath the deceased, keeping them cool for a home vigil.
End of Life Doula: provides emotional, social and spiritual support to the dying, and to those around them. They help open up the conversation about death and loss and on a more practical level, they will provide company if/when the family needs to take breaks, or help set up a community support system.
